Dust in the heater? This way you make the radiator dust-free

The radiator is a real dust collector, often without you even realizing it. But did you know that this can make you use more energy for heating? All those dust particles block the heat. Such a waste, isn't it? That's why I'm here to help you make the radiator dust-free.

Tip from Davina:

Keep the radiator dust-free for longer by regularly cleaning it with the Dust Magnet. Thanks to the handle, you can easily reach those narrow spots.

Let's take a look

Step 1: Start by vacuuming

Turn off the heating system and grab the vacuum cleaner to suck up as much dust as possible. A narrow attachment is quite handy as it helps you reach those tricky corners.

Step 2: Use the Dust Catcher for narrow spots

A radiator has plenty of narrow, hard-to-reach spots. Grab a long, thin stick (like a wooden spoon) and wrap a dry dust cloth around it, like the Dust Catcher. Thanks to its long fibres, it attracts even more dust and even crumbs. Use this to clean the rest of the radiator.

Step 3: Still some dust left? Use pantyhose!

If you have an old pair of pantyhose lying around, let it pass through the radiator and hold onto the bottom and top. Move it up and down to catch the last bits of dust. The movement creates static, making the pantyhose collect all the dust.

Step 4: Clean the exterior as well

Clean the exterior of the radiator with a microfibre cloth and a solution of warm water and All-Purpose Cleaner. Then, dry the radiator with a clean tea towel, and you're done!
