5 Tips to remove grease and food residues

Removing grease and food residue can quickly become a daunting task if you don't clean your kitchen after every cooking session. However, you can easily avoid this challenging chore with some handy and quick cleaning tips. So, for all the cooking enthusiasts out there, I have some useful tips to quickly make your kitchen clean and free from dirt and grease!

Keith's Tip:

Wash pans and dishes immediately after cooking using the Dispensing Brush, equipped with a convenient detergent reservoir.

Let's get started

Tip 1: Soak oven dishes and pans before you start eating

Of course, you're eager to dig into your meal right after cooking, but hold on for a moment before you begin. One of the most frustrating things during dishwashing is dealing with stubborn food residue and caked-on grease in oven dishes. You can easily prevent this by soaking pans and dishes right after cooking. This way, leftovers won't even get a chance to harden.

Tip 2: Place paper and newspapers on kitchen cabinets to trap grease

Do you ever clean the top of your kitchen cabinets? Do you get shocked by the layer of grease that accumulates there? Place a layer of newspapers or paper on top of the cabinets. The grease will collect on the paper instead of the cabinets. You just need to replace the paper occasionally.

Tip 3: Always let your degreaser sit for a while

Quick cleaning may seem tempting, but in the end, it will likely take more time than if you let your favourite degreaser, such as the Kitchen Cleaner, sit for a while. Ten minutes is enough time for the active ingredients to work their magic, making it easier for you to wipe away the dirt later.

Tip 4: Clean greasy stainless steel surfaces with kitchen degreaser

Grease on your deep fryer, gas stove, or the exterior of your range hood can be easily removed with a degreaser like the Kitchen Cleaner. Spray the degreaser on a soft cloth and wipe the surface. For stubborn grease stains, spray directly and let it sit for 5 minutes before wiping it away. Any streaks can be wiped off with our Multi Shine.

Tip 5: Clean the microwave with a cup of water and lemon juice

The microwave is often a victim of dirt and grease. Fortunately, you can easily clean it by placing a cup of water with lemon juice in the microwave. Set the microwave to the highest power and let it run for 5 minutes. Then, remove the cup from the microwave, and you can easily wipe away the dirt from the walls with a clean cloth.
